About Us

Wymondley Early Learning Centre (commonly known as WELC) is an Incorporated Charitable Trust and is located on the grounds of the Wymondley Road School, Otara. 

WELC is a Pasifika community-based centre which originally began as a playgroup operating from the school before becoming established as an early childhood centre in 2010 under the Early Childhood Centre Regulations 2008. 

After 5 years with an initial license of 30 over twos, the centre now caters for 50 children; with 10 under twos. 

Our pre-school day runs from 8am through to 4pm from Monday to Friday.
